1. Fast detect whether the sound driver and the graphics driver are normally installed.
Enter “dxdiag” order in start menu bar. You can detect whether sound card and graphics card are correctly installed and also test the graphics card 2D, 3D feature and whether the sound card installed works normally.
2. Check for the sound problem
The normal problem with sound card and speakers are mainly no sound or low sound. If only one speaker has sound, changed sound, roar or cracking sound, the main reasons are mute, low volume, audio driver issue, speaker damage, sound card module damage, bios setting issue, the conflict with sound card and other devices, sound card bad connection or sound card damage etc.

We can resolve the issues in the following methods:
1). First check whether there is a small speaker at right of the task bar. If there is, the sound is working normally and the problem could be due to low system sound, mute or speaker trouble. We can continue checking whether there is output sound. If there is, it could be speaker issue.
2). If there isn’t small speaker at right of the task bar, single click “control panel/sound and audio device” order, open “sound and audio device property” dialogue, choose “sound” in the dialogue and then click one of the program event(for example program error) and a sound type, and then check whether the “preview” button at right is black. If it is, the sound is normal and the error could be low system sound, mute or speaker issue.
3). If the “preview” button in “sound” option is grey, click “control panel/system property/hardware/device manager” order, check whether there is yellow in “device manager” windows.
4). If there is yellow “?”, check whether it’s sound card option (usually there are keywords like “audio” or “sound” in sound card device options). If it’s sound card device option, it shows that the sound driver has not been installed, just reinstall the multimedia audio controller driver program, the sound should be back in normal quickly.
5). If there is yellow “?” option but not for sound card device or there is no yellow ”?” option, then check whether there is yellow “!” option under sound, video or game control option.
6). If there is yellow “!”, it may be the fact that the audio driver doesn’t match or the sound card is old. In this case, delete options with “!” and reinstall the audio driver.
7). If there is no sound card option in “device manager” windows and the sound card is integrated, then restart the computer, enter BIOs program, then check whether options for surrounding devices in BIOS have been set to “Bisabled”. If it is, change it to “Enable”. If it’s been set to “enable”, it could be damages to motherboard sound card circuit, just maintaining sound card circuit should help.
8). If the sound card is not integrated, open the computer case and check whether the sound card has been well installed. If it’s not, reinstall then start the computer and test, if the sound card has been well installed already, just uninstall the card and clean dust on the motherboard sound card (specially check whether there is mold in fingers). After cleaning, reinstall it and the problem should be gone.
9). If the sound card is still not normal, it should be issue with the card itself, just replace and check whether the sound card is damaged or incompatible with the motherboard. If the sound card is damaged or incompatible with motherboard, change the sound card.
Note
If you need to reinstall the sound driver, you can first go to the manufacture’ site for example realtek audio driver go to realtek.com first. If the driver are not easily obtainable on the manufacture’s site, an automatic and safe driver update can help you download drivers easily in minutes instead.
3. If the computer makes creaking noise, make sure that the computer parts have been moved away. Maybe errors occur when installing or reinstalling new hardware. This case, we should turn off the computer and then reinstall. But make sure that the computer parts are well connected.
1). Maybe the sound is bad due to bad connection between memory and slot. So just turn off the machine and reinsert the memory.
2). Maybe this is because of the aging of signal wire connecting the hardware and the motherboard or bad connection between them. Just change the wire and the disc.

Instapaper
The Instapaper app syncs with a central account so you can save stuff on your desktop or iPhone and those ”read later” requests are then automatically synced with your iPad app and vice versa. Once synced, you can read the articles offline without an internet connection.

Flipboard is a personal magazine. It gathers news from a number of prominent sources and also scours your Facebook and Twitter data and presents that info. We’re not talking about pages and pages of your friend’s monotonous updates but about a personalised magazine where the pages are made up of articles, videos and pictures already fetched for you from any links that appear in your social media streams.
The Economist
If you are one of those smart people that reads The Economist, then why not make yourself look even smarter by reading it on an iPad in public? The app itself is free for a selection of editors highlights from each edition. If you want to read the full publication however, you will need to pay for each magazine.
GQ Magazine UK

At the moment, the UK version of the glossy magazine app and a sampler issue can be downloaded for free from iTunes and then an in-app charge of £2.40 can be paid for the latest edition. You’ll need to be 17-years-old or over to download the app as it may contain ”frequent suggestive themes” as well as ”infrequent references to mild realistic violence, mild nudity, crude humour and mild alcohol, tobacco and drug use”, as iTunes says.

A:How to reduce Win XP disc scanning time

B: How to recover data/deleted files

C. How to get the sound volume icon back in the taskbar when it disappears
Open “sound and media” in control panel. Choose “show volume control in the taskbar”. If the audio cable is oppositely connected or have conflicts with the resource, the volume icon would be gone from the taskbar. Therefore, we need to check whether the audio cable between the CD-rom and the card is oppositely connected. After the system prompts that new hardware is found, install the audio driver①.

D. upgrade XP system, all the data in user files is gone. What’s wrong? How can we get back the information?
The data could be lost due to one of the following reasons
1.Cover install with the existed XP system;
2.Use XP installation disc and Choose R to fix the system;
3.Upgrade the XP Home Edition to XP Professional Edition;.
Form the above list, we know that the lost data should be recovered from the backup. For the sake of same thing happening again, find and delete the file named undo_guimode.txt (it’s normally in \%windir%\system32 file). undo_guimode.txt file usually comes in XP system that preinstalled by the manufacturer. The system will use a guide to create this file.
E. Windows search for floppy issues now and then
If your Win 98/Me goes wrong now and then, go and check the floppy. You can do the check in the following methods:
1. Clear the data in “file” in the start menu, if you used to open files in the floppy and the file name still exists in “file”, windows could probably search for the driver.
2. Clear items in “run” in “start” menu, go to settings- control panel, open “system” “property” page, press “file system”. Don’t tick “search for new floppy every time start” in disc. Press ok, windows will not detect your floppy anymore.
3. Check whether whether your anti-virus software detects your floppy (McAfee, Antivirus, Pccillin…etc), and remember to check your ati-virus software introduction.
4. Check whether tools on your computer detects your floppy.

I just bought a white toshiba laptop L700-C06W with Windows 7 family version originally installed. When I went back home, I instantly upgrade it to Win 7 Home Edition. However I only feel that the i3 speed is not as fast as my previous Core. Today I am Off and install window XP system, other drivers can all be changed to the XP version except this ATI graphics driver. I searched the Internet and found that a lot of Friends are bothered by this problem with the machine which still has no fix since installing free driver updater like driver genius or looking for drivers on the official site amd.com still doesn’t work.
I have a XP version driver, when I install, it prompts that the graphics is not compatible, so I changed with the existed driver. Below is how I changed the XP ATI graphics driver step by step.
1. Open the Device Manager
2. There will be a question-marked hardware (graphics) in other devices
3. Double-click to open the detailed information in the property, remember the device ID border
4. Extract the driver files to the C drive, locate the file, open and search with the ATI graphics card model
5. Modified the last segment.
6. Save and close the file
7. Open the ATI graphic driver SETUP.EXE and restart after installation.
8. If still no work, manually update it: re-open the Device Manager, double-click the question hardware (graphics card)
9. Select the driver, click on the “Update Drivers ”, Choose ”install from a list or specific location (Advanced)” and choose “Do not search to allow self selection and installation of the driver”. Then select ”Install from the disc ”
10. Double click “view” and select file
Click next step to restart the computer after driver updating ( just continue the installation if there are prompts in installing).

iCloud service is part of the newest iOS released by Apple, iOS 5. iCloud is the newest way to utilize cloud storage for all Mac users. If you are an Intel user, have you got problems with the Intel graphics media accelerator driver or Intel graphics chipset driver? what kind? Well in this post, I will share you solutions for stagnation issue with the Intel chipset Intel wireless card when registering to the network components. Actually, this kind of issue is mainly caused by PCIIDE driver. Therefore, we can solve the issue in the following ways.
1. Removed PCIIDE mode in ICH4/ICH5/ICH6/ICH7/ICH9/ICH10 and default using Intelide mode installation.
2. As part of the ICH8 chip notebook with Intelide installed, the ICH8 chipset driver should also be installed in PCIIDE mode after removing Intelide mode.
3. Even though this kind of issue could be fixed by amending Intel chipset driver in the past, the effect was still not so good. So now, we will not fix the issue by changing the ICH8 chipset drivers any more.
4. Considering there is stagnation when the wireless card register with web components after installing PCIIDE driver, the following solutions offered can only be reference.

We can avoid the problem happening again by installing after ICH8 series chipset driver entered the desktop. For example: after extracting the Intel driver, we write ”batch 1” to change ICH8 chipset driver “ich8ide.inf” to ”ich8ide.inf.bak, and then “”batch 2” to change “ich8ide.inf.bak” back to “ich8ide.inf” and let it automatically install ICH8 chipset driver after entering the desktop. When we default extracting the driver package to C:\Drivers catalogue and batch the following content.
Write batch 1 like this: Ren C:\Drivers\Chipset\Intel\C\All\ich8ide.inf ich8ide.inf.bak
Write batch 2 like this: Ren C:\Drivers\Chipset\Intel\C\All\ich8ide.inf.bak ich8ide.inf
Of course you can also deal with it in other ways, only if you let ICH8 chipset driver or Intel wireless card driver enter the desktop to install.
